The team at Mackinnon and Saunders have produced puppets for some of the highest profile puppet films and TV shows over the last 20 years including creating stop-motion puppets for Tim Burton and Wes Anderson, they also created the puppets for Gerry Anderson’s 1999 series Lavender Castle. Their work can be regularly seen in commercials and pre-school TV series too.

Now the Mackinnon and Saunders team talk about how they first came to work with Gerry Anderson, the appeal of puppetry, and the process of creating a new generation of Gerry Anderson puppet for our new series ‘Firestorm’ filmed in Ultramarionation.

Check out the motion test of our first Firestorm puppet here:

As usual, we also have news, listener emails, and Chris Dale returns with a randomiser episode you’ll love…
