Lost Thunderbirds Audio Adventure Found!

A charity Thunderbirds audio adventure Starring Shane Rimmer, David Graham and Matt Zimmerman not heard since the 1980s has been brought to life for the Gerry Anderson YouTube channel. We’ve called it ‘Parker in Need’.

Originally written and directed by Dirk Maggs for the BBC’s Children in Need fundraiser in the late 1980s, the short story played out over one week on Radio 2 to promote the charity event. The production was executive produced by Gerry Anderson. You can hear more about this production in Dirk Maggs’ interview on the Gerry Anderson Podcast.

To accompany the archive audio, a video was produced and edited by Andrew Clements.

If you enjoyed this adventure, please consider donating to Children in Need.
