Gerry Anderson included in new Oxford Dictionary of National Biography

Gerry Anderson, the creator of Thunderbirds, Stingray, Captain Scarlet and many more has been added to the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography which went on sale on 7th January 2016. This new edition includes 222 more biographies of men and women who have contributed much to British life.

The new additions to the book include those who died in 2012. Along with Gerry Anderson, the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography includes famous names such as astronomer Sir Patrick Moore, and historian Eric Hobsbawm.
