Barbara Bain, Prentis Hancock & more at Space:1999 virtual con!

An upcoming Space:1999 online convention to be held on September 12th 2021 will be featuring series stars Barbara Bain (Helena Russell), Prentis Hancock (Paul Morrow), and Yasuko Nagazumi (Yasko) among its special guests!

Hosted by Bain’s series stand-in Suzanne Peterson, the six hour-long Destination Moonbase Alpha event will be the very first virtual Space:1999 convention! As well as special guest interviews, the event will also host an auction in support of the convention’s charity, the Alzheimer’s Foundation, for which Prentis has kindly donated Paul Morrow’s very own guitar! As seen being played by Paul in the episodes Black Sun and Guardian of Piri, this guitar has been in Prentis’ personal collection for many years – but now one lucky fan will be able to grab a piece of screen-used Space:1999 history!

More guests will be announced in the upcoming weeks, so keep an eye on the convention’s Facebook page, and access tickets to this virtual event can be purchased now through the event website – but with only 90 slots available, be sure to act fast to secure yours!
